  1.                       REGISTERING  MERGEIT (TM)
  2. You may try out MergeIt for up to 30 days. At that time I hope
  3. you would decide whether you want to continue using it.
  4. If you do want to continue using it, I ask you to register it.
  5. If you have questions or find possible bugs in MergeIt while trying
  6. it out, I'd like to hear from you...you can reach me thru Compuserve,
  7. Genie, or by US mail.

  11. Benefits of registration:
  12.   a) In addition to removing the startup delay screen, the normal
  13.      registered version of "MergeIt" allows the merging of up
  14.      to 5 image sections. If you have need of merging >5 sections please
  15.      specify what your needs are when registering.
  16.   b) The output image filename is not limited to ImageOut.PCX.
  17.   c) You will receive the latest, up-to-date version of "MergeIt".
  18.      Documentation will be supplied in a "printer form"-i.e. with page
  19.      breaks & headers and a table of contents-that will print out in a
  20.      convenient booklet format.
  21.   e) You receive the handy utility "ScanIt" which simplifies image scanning
  22.      and merging. See description in "MergeIt" documentation.
  23.   f) You receive information and a utility to make personalized help files
  24.      to display while merging (in place of those that come with "MergeIt").
  25.   g) Free technical help, upgrades at minimum expense (<$10). I may be
  26.      reached through Compuserve, Genie, and voice phone.
  27.   h) If desired you may order (for +$5):
  28.              printed out documentation,
  29.              a template for making a scanning frame, and
  30.              an alignment test grid pattern.
  31.   i) A good conscience...supporting people who write software that other
  32.      people find useful.

  35.   The registration fee is $30 (+$5 for printed materials if desired)
  36.   (Calif. residents please add $2.00 for sales tax.) .
  37.   This includes shipping and handling.

  39.   Please specify whether you need a 5.25" floppy or a 3.5" floppy and
  40.   the corresponding capacity. (Default is 5.25",360K). If you only
  41.   specify 5.25", the default 360K floppy will be sent with some files
  42.   compressed. Please indicate if you can read a 1.2M floppy, then
  43.   no compression will be necessary.
